Tropical sense from higher latitude
While other resorts get swept into the Balinese style, Seahorse greets its visitors with the distinctive combination of the Mediterranean liveliness and the Eastern way of relaxation.
“Movement is what creates life. Stillness is what creates love.” a modern yogi has mused before of the ancient science which has immersed spiritualists as well as yoganistas worldwide into the journey of the body and the mind. The movement and life. The stillness and love. Who would ever guess that the profound testimony above has found another embodiment here in Seahorse Resort, a vibrant-looking lodging set in the passage from Hua Hin’s city center to the lush Takieb Mountain.
Seahorse Resort is situated on the road leading to Takieb Mountain, the water sport hub of Hua Hin and home to an unbeaten beachfront. It is one of the resorts that break the spell of Balinese design. Upon the backdrop formed by the verdant Grailart Mountain, Seahorse Resort trades the heart of its style northward. Its visitors are greeted with the unique “Ethnoriental” atmosphere. The classic Mediterranean white-blue scheme blends into a lively sense of modernity and a hint of Asian charm. As if the Acropolis, a crystalline swimming pool is set in the center and is oriented towards by every element on the compound. The vivid blue in the water and the embroidering paint offsets the serene whiteness of the rustic two-storey buildings. The circularly-aligned compound opens to the amazing view of the Grailart Mountain in the backdrop. Over the hills temples and traditional houses dot dispersedly.
It is a wondrous twilight when you find yourself seated on a submerged stool by the poolside bar, viewing the sun bidding a farewell to the mystical view of the verdant hill range.
Lay down to simplicity of spacious white room while the spirits of colors are never missing. The 22 units in the 2 two-storey comprise 10 Moon Terrace rooms, 10 Malibu rooms and 2 Exotic rooms.
