Thailand sees the opening of the first standard 18-hole golf course in 1922 through the introduction of Royal Hua Hin Golf Course. Today Hua Hin reportedly has 14 standard golf courses with superb contingents, ranging from the breathtaking scenery to the best selected sorts of grass. The global recognition is attested to by the town’s history of hosting world-class golf tournaments such as Asian PGA Tour and Thailand Open.
