They get off the beaten-path to witness how people live among the coconut groves and fishing villages dotted along their cycling routes. Whether you’re a serious cyclist or just enjoy a relaxing form of exercise, Sea Hill MTB offers something for all levels of fitness.

The operation was founded by Paul and Susan Mason, originally from England but now living in the wonderful kingdom of Thailand just outside of Hua Hin, and they offer rides on a daily basis.  Currently there are four on offer with more to come.  These include the Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park, Dolphin Bay and Khao Kalok, and the pretty coves of Pranburi, Sai Noi and Khao Tao.   

Sea Hill MTB takes the safety, planning and preparation of the rides very seriously, and all the bikes are cleaned, checked and lubricated after every single ride.  They are taken to a professional bike shop in Hua Hin on a regular basis for a full maintenance check, and any parts that are showing signs of wear are replaced...before they go! 
The company provide state-of- the-art equipment, fully serviced and maintained, including proper helmets and clean water bottles.  Their experience in running rides and knowledge of the local environment enables them to minimize risks and dangers.  They insist all clients wear good-quality helmets and understand the rules of the road by presenting a safety briefing before each tour. A first aid kit is also carried in the support vehicle that tracks the riders throughout the ride.

The adventure rides are on the latest 2007 specification TREK 6000 mountain bikes, which are high quality, and durable, boasting excellent components including hydraulic disk brakes, which will cope with the most demanding roads and 'stop you on a sixpence'.   Paul Mason, director and founder of the company says, “Even on our road trips around Hua Hin the surface can often be potholed, so these Trek mountain bikes are the ideal ride. They also have enough gears (27) to cope with the most challenging climbs.”

Full details of the rides and the prices for each trip are featured on their website at www.seahillmtb.com and range from 1,450 to 1,980 baht.  These are fully inclusive prices and include bike hire, helmets (which must be worn for your safety), collection and return from and to your hotel or residence, free fruit, water and soft drinks all day and all entrance fees.  They also provide a Thai lunch at the end of the tour, and are currently offering a free bespoke T-shirt to the first 100 customers!  End:
